Description: Requires BA degree in industrial technology, engineering, business, or a related field, plus at least two years experience working in a production environment. Appropriate work experience may be credited as a substitute for educational requirements. Must be familiar with OSHA and Department of Labor (DOL) rules and regulations.
This position will use information from business customers to conduct time studies or use other DOL approved work methods to determine labor costs for contract and enclave work. Combines information with material costs and other relevant costs to recommend prices to charge for services. Presents bid options for approval. Designs and implements quality control procedures for the sub-contract work and oversees the quality control program on a day-to-day basis. Designs and creates jigs, fixtures, and work equipment modifications that minimize the vocational barriers individuals with disabilities have for particular jobs.
Part-time position. Generally 25-28 hours/week. Primarily 1st shift Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm with possible flexibility.
